Hello Everyone.
We are currently still in Terra, Utah, living with my in-laws as well as James' oldest sister Becky, her husband, and 11 year old daughter. So its crowded but fun. No jobs have opened up for myself and James is looking for work after the summer. I will be going to school online with Western Governor's University starting in September and hopefully finishing up my Bachelors in Elementary Education by next fall. James is still looking into Respiratory Therapy schools... but it is a expensive program, but you gotta spend the money to make the money, I guess.
Other than that we are just living day by day hoping each day will bring us more than the one before. We have had a few set backs and upset moments but we get through them. Our most recent set back was dealing with our little van. It has been so good to us and it definitely knows when to not give up on us. Saturday just happen to be a day it didn't want to carry on. We(in laws, Becky, James and I) were on our way to Orem to see Collin Raye and Restless Heart in concert. The tickets were only $15 a piece and we love both of those performers. So we went on our way. We were 40 minutes into our trip when our car started making a really weird noise like a belt was loose but was just spinning and then it wouldnt move forward or backwards. We sat around for an hour or so, while Becky was on the phone griping out AT&T for not putting roadside assistance on her phone. I tried seeing what our insurance covered. Around that time a gentlemen stop to help. He happen to be a mechanic and helped us out. We thought it was just our car needed transmission fuel. So the man(J) and James went to his shop and picked some up. Not the problem. Our transmission gave up on us. Thats not even the worst of it. We had just put $1700 just in May that went towards rebuilding our transmission. So our transmission has given up on us twice in 2 months. We are crossing our fingers that the gentlemen who fixed our transmission in AL will tranfer our warranty here and then maybe we will have to fork over little from our own empty pockets.
Other than that we are doing okay, and trying to be optimistic and supportive to one another. I have had my meltdowns but I have family that has been great and helped me through it(Thank you Memaw and Papaw). Our dogs are doing great not liking the heat too much but love being out doors were they can run freely. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoys the rest of their summer. Love you all.
