Well obviously the Red Sox didnt win... So things have calm down here well in the evening anyways, our apartment isnt filled with people and loudness. And not that Kerris Shower is over not much has been exciting. The shower did go well, I think. Oh and I have cut my hair which was very much needed. Other than that we are just up to the same ole same... school, work, and church. Not much to anything. We are excited for Halloween though! We even decorated cookies last night with Jonny and Kerri. But other than that we are just living the life up here in the Burg... and in about 16 days and counting down we will be welcoming another girl into the family!!! Jonny and Kerri are getting married in the Bountiful temple. Im so excited to go into that temple I think it so pretty and Im trying to go into all the temples at least in the US! Getting close- it will be 2 out of the 134! woo hoo... We are planning to go to my friends wedding in December in the Salt Lake Temple so I am well on my way to 134. Well that is all the news here, just getting colder. And our turtles are doing great.

GO RED SOX!!

Just got done watching the most amazing baseball game...EVER. The second biggest comeback in MLB postseason history. Red Sox are all about making history. The Blake boys gave up in the 7th inning when they were down 7-0 but I knew better. James said Ortiz would strikeout but he hit a 3 run homer to bring them to 5-4. Then Rays tried to back ahead and the score was 7-4 but then we didnt let that happen. Drew hit a homer. And then in the 9th we brought the score 8-7!!! Go Red Sox... Weird to blog about this I know but it is just so amazing.
2004 Boston vs Yankees 3-0 went on to win WS
2007 Boston vs Indians 3-1 went on to win WS
2008 Bostonvs Rays 3-1... See a pattern!!

Family

Hey Everyone!
Yes it has been a while and well very busy for just two people. We have been juggling school, work, church, and play... what an adventure, definetly will not be any additions in the near future and I mean future speaking like 10 years!
Nothing really has been going on just school and the normal things along with that- attending class, tests, homework... blah blah blah. Church is going great. We loved General Conference and especially enjoying it in our apartment in PJs. Even though our stake center and where we meet is only 1oo feet away from us. :) We are grateful every Sunday, I promise. Leaving 2 minutes before is just wonderful. Work is going well, same ole same... but we have to do it. And we love working along with James' two brothers and our future sister-in-law.
We love having James' brothers here, its fun to go watch Jonny's baseball games even when we are freezing, it is a fun sacrifice. Before it turned cold we would love to spend our free time going to the nature park and feeding the 50 ducks our old bread! But its definetly too cold for that now. We are currently on Red Sox time. Meaning its playoffs and when a game is on, we stop whatever or bring it with us to the living room and tune in... and yes we are hoping for them to make another appearance in the World Series. James has told me since we have dated that whenever he makes the right decision, ie. mission and dating/engaged to me, the Red Sox when the World Series. So I tease saying well if they when this year then it must have been the right decision to marry me... haha! We enjoyed having James' mom, Michelle, come down and spend the weekend, it was Mothers Weekend here at BYU-Idaho, with us and the her other boys. And of course the weekend we had plans everyday it would be our coldest yet... And our first snow of the season was on Saturday and lasted until Monday morning. Not too excited. Anyways, Friday we watched the Sox, Saturday we went to Jonnys baseball game and then off to the temple, where we were able to be with Kerri when she got her endowments taken out. So Fun! And the Rexburg temple is gorgeous by the way. I love going in that temple it is just so wonderful. Saturday night we watched the Sox and got a surprise. Then Sunday Michelle joined us at church and attempted to leave for Utah in the snow, but missed all too much and came back, just to head out Monday morning. So we had a fun weekend.
That is about all that we are up to, not much, but enough to keep our heads spinning. And Saturday I am hosting a shower for Kerri, and it is just going to be too much fun! She is such a fun girl... but I must say she has her hands full, I dont think she has kids in her future for at least 15 years, only because Jonny is going take alot to refine... haha Just Kidding... I love all my Brother In Laws... but she does have a work ahead of her but dont we all...

Oh our surprise was BABY TURTLES!! They are the size of a silver dollar... I know we are going a little crazy on the reptile family, but when you cant have a puppy and not quite ready for a human addition to the family, we substitute... for now. And I guess I will add our story of the week here... well when most peoples story of the week is about there childrens crazy acts or sayings, so is ours!! To begin we have two teenage turtles, KooKoo and Kachoo, in one tank along with 3 sucker fish and they help out tremendously to clean out the tank so we dont. When we got the babies I put them all in one tank. James and I had to run an errand and when we came back I noticed that one of the baby turtles was chompin' down on something that was not food or anything that I recognized. So I pulled it out and examined it as any mother would when their baby is chewing on something unknown... :) lol! Well I got to looking at it and still didnt know then it clicked... I had James clean out the whole tank and I knew it... A sucker fish was missing. One of our sucker fish was missing, completley just did not exist! Thats correct one of our teen turtles at their own MAID!!! This was coming KooKoo like to get really close and nip at this particular sucker but we would always be there to stop him... just not this time.
Hope everyone is doing well. Miss you all and will try to keep you posted!
