Spring Time, where?

Well the calendar says its suppose to be spring but for some reason the outside view isn't replicating that idea. It is freezing, snowing, and outrageously windy! The warm weather and sandy beaches of the bay of Alabama are calling my like crazy, but I have a week and a half of school left, so I better stick it out.
We are doing well, if only we had a say in the weather that might help a little. School is going great for me. James is enjoying not working for the next week and playing golf... and I will add cleaning and packing. Baylee, our puppy, has gotten so big! She is still obedient but at times a little defiant and stubborn, but if pets do reflect their owners, she gets it from me! I have taught her to sit, stay, and lay down, and she actually does them on command :) That has been a tremendous help that she knows those things now. Next week we are looking forward to our first Red Sox game of the season... YAY!! Other than that we are up to much just waiting to get out of Rexburg for a little while, everyone needs a break from the Burg trust me.
We are super excited for general conference, and hearing from the First Presidency and everyone else. I love general conference time! I love that I can nestle up on the couch with a couple of snacks in my PJs, and note pad and pen and listen to the sweet and inspiring talks given by those who have prepared so dilignetly. James and I are so grateful for the temple just up on the hill. If we have been out that night and see the temple lit up we say how beautiful it is. I always think how great it is that we have such a gorgeous monument just 2 miles away from us. We love it. Everyone should come and see it. It is gorgeous! Especially at night when are coming in from the highway, I always think when I see that, "We are home" and it is ironic that is probably exactly the sight we will see and thing we will say when we do arrive "home in heaven"! Well that is all for now. We will keep everyone posted, we are leaving for Alabama on the 10th, so we will talk soon!

Update

Hello everyone. If you have been checking periodically hoping there is something new posted about us and what's going on, I am sure you have been disappointed. We are still alive, that is the good news. I will try to do better at this whole thing, but then again I say that about my own personal journal!

James and I are doing good. School is going wonderful, but its getting that time in the semester that you are just ready to be done... even though you still have more semesters to go before you see the end! James and I are trying to get the most out of work when they have it. Right now work is hard to come by because of the economy. What we do is call people who have certain dealings with products or businesses and ask them questions about them. But right now business don't have the money to put towards surveys, so we have little work. We are thankful that we have been saving throughout the months and also grants come in great help when you have rent to pay. I got a Academic Competitiveness Grant worth $375 just last month for good grades, I guess. It was such a blessing. And since work is hard to get here in Rexburg, James was confronted at the perfect time by the company APX. This company sells and installs security systems in homes. James will be a tech, so he will be installing these systems starting in April and ending in August. We will be living in Mobile, Alabama. Which is on the bay of the Gulf, and only 50 miles from Florida and like 50 miles from Louisiana! Our neighbors, that have also become like our best friends are going along with us. So that way I won't be the only married one up there. James' boss is also married so it will be quite the adventure. James and I will continue to do school by doing online classes which will be interesting. We are so excited for this opportunity and when is a better time to do so, when your young and don't have children!
We actually do have a little child of our own, her name is Baylee. She is a border collie/lab mix(black) and is so sweet and obedient. She is 4 months old and we are so happy she was able to join our family. We are still enjoying married life, and just came up on our 6 month anniversary this past week!!! So crazy that it has been this long, and we are coming up in a couple months on our 2 year anniversary of being together! Time flies when your witht the one you love, I guess:). And we coming up on RED SOX FEVER time!! We are totally stoked! Other than that not much has been going on in the Blake home. Just school, training a dog and enjoying her presence, some work and living life and the blessings it has to offer!!! The snow is finally melting which is odd for this time of year here, but I'm not complaining:). Oh and our lovely brother Jonny and his wife Kerri are expecting a baby in August, crazy I know, but we are excited for the little addition. Hope this update has been enjoyable for everyone and I promise I will try to make this more frequent!
